Global United Mission is organizing a special mission trip focused on shaping the future of refugee missions in Eastern Europe and the Middle East. This trip will involve strategic visits and discussions aimed at strengthening our mission efforts in these regions.
Greece: August 6-8 and August 12
Our journey begins in Greece, where we will visit key refugee mission sites to assess the current situation and explore opportunities for further collaboration.
- Athens: We will visit Missionary Park Geum-mi and engage with the local refugee community to understand their needs and challenges.
- Corinth: A visit to Missionary Yang Yong-tae will provide insights into the ongoing mission work and potential areas for support.
- Joint Missions Discussion: We will hold discussions with local Korean churches, particularly the Athens Korean United Church, to explore joint mission efforts and strengthen partnerships.
Armenia: August 9-12 (2 nights, 3 days)
Following our time in Greece, we will travel to Armenia for a three-day visit to continue our mission assessment and planning.
- Purpose: Evaluate the refugee mission landscape in Armenia and set the direction for future initiatives in the region.
- Participation Fee: The estimated cost for this mission trip is $3,400 per person, covering travel, accommodation, and participation expenses.
This mission trip is a pivotal step in expanding and refining our efforts to support refugees in some of the most vulnerable regions of the world. We look forward to working closely with our partners and local churches to make a meaningful impact.
